Graffiti Restaurant & Brewery Opening in Kitchener’s Catalyst 137 Complex This Autumn

KITCHENER, ONThe Waterloo Region Record reports that a technology startup hub opening in Kitchener later this year will feature a new eatery and brewery from the team behind one of the area’s top restaurants.

Graffiti will be a casual Italian-influenced restaurant founded by chef Jonathan Gushue and restaurateur Ryan Lloyd-Craig, co-owners of award-winning modern dining restaurant The Berlin.

Set to be located in Catalyst 137, a 475,000-square-foot warehouse that is being converted into a “modern workplace housing startups working on Internet of Things technology,” Graffiti will also feature a brewery with a capacity of over 2,000 barrels a year, as well as a bakery, coffee roaster, and food marketplace.

“It is a more fast-paced, casual kind-of-funky restaurant that you can pop in and out of,” Gushue tells the Record. “The space allows us to be ever-growing and ever-changing.”

Graffiti is planned to open in October. For more details, see the full Record article.
