Collective Arts Announces Project IPA Series & First Collaborative Beer

HAMILTON, ON – Collective Arts Brewing has announced details of two new limited edition beers due out later this month, one the first in a new series of experimental IPAs, and the other a collaboration with an Icelandic hostel & brewpub.

The debut release in the Collective Project IPA Series is the simply named IPA Project #1, and is described as follows:

Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe and Citra star in the numero uno addition of our Collective Project IPA series. These three hops were grown to be together, the New Zealand grown Nelson Sauvin hops impart a strong, fruity flavour with an aroma that resembles white wine, or fresh crushed grapes and gooseberries. Paired with the earthy pine and citrus of the Simcoe hops, they co-mingle with the floral citrus notes of Citra hops. This is one delicious, juicy and slightly dank IPA.

Also out soon is the brewery’s first ever collaborative release, Nordic Söl Gose, which was co-created with Iceland’s KEX and has the following notes:

Made with authentic Icelandic ingredients, Arctic thyme, Icelandic sea salt and Nordic sol leave this Gose slightly hazy with a tart, clean, and highly carbonated body. The Arctic thyme and sea salt are present but not overbearing creating a balanced, fresh & spritzy finish.

Nordic Söl will be released on February 11th, and will be available in cans exclusively at the Collective Arts retail store, and on draught at select bars in Hamilton, Toronto and other Ontario cities. It will also be a featured beer at the Icelandic Beer Festival, taking place February 23rd to 26th in Reykjavik.

IPA Project #1 will follow on February 18th, with cans available at Collective Arts, select grocery stores in Ontario, and beer retailers in Manitoba and Massachusetts, and on draught in all three regions.
