London Brewing Co-operative Opening New Location This Weekend

LONDON, ONThe London Free Press reports that London Brewing Co-operative will be opening its new location in London’s Old East Village neighbourhood this weekend.

As announced last November, the worker-owned brewery had outgrown its original location in The Root Cellar organic cafe and restaurant, and found a new space that is being shared with organic grocery delivery service On The Move Organics.

Set to open at 521 Burbrook Place on Saturday February 25th, the new facility features a retail store and tap room offering six brands, including the new Zee Brugge of The North Belgian IPA, and the brewery’s flagship Local 117 which is made using ingredients sourced from within 117 km of the brewery.

This Saturday’s grand opening event will run from 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM. Following the launch, the store and tasting room will be open Thursday through Saturday during the same hours.
