BURLINGTON, ON – Nickel Brook Brewing has announced details of an upcoming beer release that will raise funds for a refugee relief program.
Higher Dimension is described as follows:
Higher Dimension, a Belgian Amber dry-hopped with Ella, has aromas of bubble gum and candy sugar, which are contrasted with floral and tropical zest characters. The tropical, spicy hop notes shine up-front, giving way to malt sweetness, balanced against a grapefruit backbone.
Under the “Higher Dimension, Higher Cause” effort, Nickel Brook will be donating partial proceeds from the beer to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), an agency that “works to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another country.”
Higher Dimension will be launched on Saturday March 4th at the Nickel Brook retail store, where it will be sold for $4.25 per bottle with 75 cents from each sale going to UNHCR. A limited number of kegs will also be available to select licensees.
