Refined Fool Receives City Approval for Second Location

SARNIA, ON – Blackburn News reports that Refined Fool Brewing has received approval from Sarnia city council to open a second brewing facility at 1326 London Road, a location that currently houses a home renovation supply store.

This marks the second attempt by the brewery to expand to a new location, after its plans to take over a property in downtown Sarnia were approved by the city but later abandoned due to issues with the building owner.

The new location, which will be vacated soon due to the impending liquidation of TJ’s Home Renovation Centre, is planned to feature a brewhouse producing “nearly 2,500 barrels a year at startup, with long-term annual production at the site of just over 9,700 barrels.” In addition, the new facility will have a full service restaurant, taproom, and retail store.

While most of Refined Fool’s production will shift to the new brewery, the taproom and retail store at the existing downtown location will remain open.
