BRACEBRIDGE, ON – Muskoka Brewery has announced that its Founder and President Gary McMullen (pictured left) is departing the company.
McMullen launched the brewery – then known as Lakes of Muskoka Cottage Brewery – with partner Kirk Evans in June 1996, and carried on with the business following Evans’ death in January 1997 due a car accident.
Succeeding McMullen as company president is Todd Lewin (pictured right), who has been VP of sales and marketing for Muskoka since March 2011, preceded by a decade with Molson Coors in various positions.
No reason for McMullen’s departure was announced, nor any details about his future plans.
