TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the release of two new IPAs, with one of them being the brewery’s take on one of the latest hot trends in beer, and the other featuring two hops that are classics in the style.
Milkshark Pineapple IPA (7% abv) is inspired by the Milkshake IPA style that was pioneered by Tired Hands and Omnipollo. It was “brewed with lactose sugar, apple pectin, conditioned on a huge amount of pineapple purée and vanilla, and dry-hopped with a very heavy hand.”
Runes Double Dry-Hopped IPA (6.7% abv) has been “brewed with wheat and a big dose of oats, [and] heavily dry-hopped with Mosaic and Citra, and again with Mosaic lupulin powder.”
Both beers are available in 500 ml bottles at the Ossington and Hafis locations of Bellwoods while supplies last.
