Collective Arts Announces Four New Beers for Spring 2017

HAMILTON, ONCollective Arts Brewing has announced details of four new beers that will be released in March and April, including a year-round brand, a core seasonal beer, and a pair of one-off releases from the Collective Project series.

The releases will start this Friday March 24th with Radio the Mothership Imperial IPA, a seasonal beer that will return each spring:

Radio the Mothership is big and juicy with an earthy bitterness, made with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra hops. The name Radio the Mothership was conceived as a way to tie into Collective Arts’ galactic-themed IPA, Ransack the Universe. “Radio” is a retro notion of connectivity that connects drinkers back to the source: the brewery, or the “Mothership”. As Collective Arts travels the world, they will stay connected and be sure to Radio the Mothership.

Following on Friday March 31st will be the new permanent listing, Prophets & Nomads Gose:

Prophets & Nomads is an unfiltered wheat beer made with malted wheat. It offers a unique cloudy, yellow colour, low hop bitterness, and features coriander and Himalayan salt. The name Prophets & Nomads is a salute to the creators that Collective Arts works with: brewers, artists, and musicians. A creative class that thinks outside the box, learns from the past, and looks beyond their own backyard for inspiration.

Next up on Friday April 7th is IPA #2, a limited edition brand with the following notes:

IPA #2 is the second in the series of Collective Project India Pale Ales. This cloudy, “New England” style IPA is beautifully balanced with tropical, citrus and piney heavy hops: Mosaic, Simcoe and Waimea.

Finally, Friday April 14th will see the release of another Collective Project one-off beer, Dry Hop Sour:

Dry Hop Sour was the answer to a never-ending battle between hop heads and sour lovers. To appease the two, Collective Arts’ brewers used Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand and Citra from the Pacific Northwest. This mixed fermentation brew is juicy, sour, and refreshing.

All four beers will be available in 473 ml cans, and will be on sale at the Collective Arts retail store at 5:30 PM on the dates noted above. Release to select LCBOs, grocery stores, bars and restaurants in Ontario will take place in the week following the brewery launch.
