Mill Street St. John’s & Port Rexton Releasing Collaborative Dunkelweizen

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that the St. John’s location of a national brewpub chain and one of Newfoundland’s newest craft breweries are about to release a new collaborative beer.

Mill Street & Port Rexton Dunkelweizen is a 5.2% abv and 22 IBU German-style dark wheat ale that described as featuring the style’s “iconic banana and clove aromatics, reminiscent of banana bread.”

The new beer will be launched at Mill Street St. John’s this Wednesday April 12th with a ticketed event from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The $45 admission includes pints of three beers – the collaborative Dunkelweizen, Mill Street Black Bart’s Brown Ale, and Port Rexton Horse Chops IPA – along with a mac & cheese bar catered by Five Brothers Cheese.
