VANCOUVER, BC – Powell Brewery has announced details of its newest limited edition beer which is due out next week.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is an 9.9% abv and 59 IBU ale with the following description:
This Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout is black as night with aromas of dried stone fruits, shaved chocolate and bourbon. The rich malt body is complimented by roast and flavours of dark chocolate, vanilla, cherry, dried figs and a subtle hint of molasses.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout will be released Monday April 17th at 2:00 PM in the Powell Street tasting room and retail store, where it will be available in 650 ml bottles to go, and 5 ounce pours to sample.
