VICTORIA, BC – Lighthouse Brewing has announced details of two new seasonal beers that have been released for the summer.
Citrus Shore Session Ale is a 4.6% abv session ale inspired by the story of a cargo of oranges that fell off a schooner and washed up at Grates Cove, Newfoundland in 1944. It’s described as being “light-bodied and full-flavoured with citrus notes: perfect for summertime entertaining, camping trips with friends, or impromptu picnics.”
Canada 150 Heritage Ale is a 6.3% abv strong ale brewed in honour of this year’s 150th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation. It’s described as “an unapologetically Canadian brew, offering notes of maple, smoke, and rye malt.”
Citrus Shore Session Ale will be available at BC Liquor stores in six-packs of 355 ml bottles, and as part of the Lighthouse Bounty Summer Pack mixed 12-pack along with Tasman Pale Ale, Bowline Pilsner, and Race Rocks Ale. Canada 150 Heritage Ale will be available in 650 ml bottles at BC Liquor and private stores throughout the province.
