The Exchange Brewery Vintage Reserve Series Continues with Dubbel 2016

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ONThe Exchange Brewery has announced the release of the latest in its series of aged Vintage Reserve ales.

Vintage Reserve Dubbel 2016 has been bottle aged for a full year, and is described as follows:

The dark-auburn Vintage brew kept its signature fruitiness with a boast of sherry and berry aromas. It developed an assertive acidity and pleasing apple tartness, with a cider-like taste.

The vintage release of Dubbel has been released alongside the new 2017 edition, which has the following tasting notes:

The younger and spicier Dubbel displays classic Belgian Yeast easters of clove and all-spice. It is malt-forward and brings more warmth from the alcohol and sweet caramel notes.

Both beers are available now in 750 ml bottles at The Exchange retail store, with the 2016 vintage selling for $13, and the 2017 for $12 per bottle.

The next 2016 Vintage Reserve release from The Exchange is expected to be a the Belgian Pumpkin Ale in October.
