VICTORIA, BC – Driftwood Brewing has announced the return of a new limited edition beer that is perfect for the warm temperatures of late spring and early summer.
Cry Me a River Gose is a 5% abv tart wheat ale that is described as follows:
Brewed in the tradition of the artisan brewers of Leipzig, this rare style of wheat beer is named after the Gose River whose slightly salty waters originally gave the beer its characteristic taste. This style went extinct twice in Germany but is today enjoying a revival in Leipzig and here in North America. Dry, tart, citrusy and deliciously refreshing on a hot summer’s day.
Cry Me a River Gose is available now in 650 ml bottles at the Driftwood tasting room and retail store, and select private liquor stores in Victoria and Vancouver.
