Taking place September 22nd and 23rd, 2017 at the Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds, this year’s festival is expected to attract more than 20,000 attendees to enjoy 17 Beau’s beers on tap – including a number of new and exclusive beers – as well as more than 50 specially selected beers and ciders from other Ontario craft producers.
Musical entertainment on the Main Stage will include Stars, John K. Samson & Winter Wheat, TUNS, and I.D.A.L.G. on Friday, and The Rheostatics, The Planet Smashers, Julie & The Wrong Guys, and Partner on Saturday. Canada’s Polka King Walter Ostanek will be performing both afternoons, and the Black Forest Stage will feature punk and hip-hop bands and a skate park.
In addition, 28 restaurants and food vendors from Ontario and Quebec will be on hand to serve Bavarian- and locally-inspired fare, and other attractions will include the School of Bock series of seminars and panels featuring beer and brewing experts, a midway, sausage eating contests, games and activities, and more.
Tickets for Beau’s Oktoberfest 2017 are on sale now, priced at $29 for a single-day pass or $39 for both Friday and Saturday until June 18th, after which prices will increase to $32 and $45 respectively. Saturday passes for kids 13 and under are $5, and a variety of add-ons including bus transportation from Montréal, Ottawa, and Cornwall are also available.
