PARRY SOUND, ON – A brewery currently in development in Parry Sound has announced that it will be debuting a contract brewed version of its first brand at a special event next month.
Trestle Brewing was first announced in early 2015 and originally planned for a Spring 2016 opening, but various issues have delayed construction of the facility at 9 Great North Road. In the meantime, Trestle head brewer Matt Lyons has brewed some initial batches of Trestle Golden Ale at Highlander Brew Co.
Brewed with Vienna and Pilsner malts, bittered with Magnum hops, and finished with Sterling and Saphir hops for “a crisp clean taste,” the Golden Ale will be launched on July 7th with a late afternoon boat cruise on the MV Chippewa III featuring snacks, a commemorative glass, and the chance to be one of the first people to try the new beer.
For more details and to order cruise tickets, see the event announcement on the Trestle Brewing website.
