Bellwoods Releases Four Winds Collaboration & New Edition of Runes

TORONTO, ONBellwoods Brewery has announced the release of two new beers, including a collaboration with a like-minded west coast brewery, and the latest in an ongoing series of IPAs dry-hopped with lupulin powder.

Psidiumism is a 5.6% salted guava pale ale co-brewed with Four Winds Brewery from Delta, BC, and described as follows:

The fruit pale ale was salted, fermented on a hefty portion of pink guava, and heavily dry hopped with Citra and Ekuanot. The resulting beer has an outstanding fruit aroma of guava with a finishing hoppy bite, and light but lasting salt profile.

Also out today is the newest version of Runes, a 6.7% abv IPA with the following notes:

A pale malt bill with a healthy addition of oats, this beer received a massive dry hop of Simcoe & Mosaic lupulin powder. A proprietary hop product, lupulin powder is a concentrated hop powder that contains all the acids and oils from the hop cone that you want without the excess vegetal matter that you don’t. Strong aromas and flavours of blueberry, Mandarin orange and peaches lead into a soft, round mouthfeel with a pleasantly dry finish.

Both beers are available now in the Bellwoods retail locations on Ossington Avenue and Hafis Road in Toronto.
