Bench Creek Releases Headwall Dampfbier

YELLOWHEAD COUNTY, AB – Bench Creek Brewing has announced the release of the latest in an ongoing series of limited edition draught-only beers.

Headwall Dampfbier is described as follows:

A centuries-old style from the Eastern forests of Bavaria, dampfbier is the all-barley cousin of the much more famous hefeweizen. This brew utilizes four different types of German barley malt and a traditional hefeweizen yeast strain, along with German noble hops. Headwall showcases sweet, aromatic toasty and bready malt flavours and a subdued presentation of the typical clove, banana, and fruity notes associated with hefeweizen yeast.

Headwall Dampfbier is available now in the Bench Creek taproom, and kegs have been sent out for distribution to select bars and growler stations throughout Alberta.
