“Brewing Revolution” & “150 Years of Canadian Beer Labels” Shortlisted for Taste Canada Awards

TORONTO, ON – The shortlist has been announced for the 20th anniversary edition of the Taste Canada Awards recognizing the best in Canadian food and culinary writing, and two books related to beer and brewing are included among the nominees.

Brewing Revolution: Pioneering the Craft Beer Movement by Frank Appleton and 150 Years of Canadian Beer Labels by Lawrence C. Sherk have both been shortlisted under the Culinary Narratives category, which includes “books exploring culinary history, politics, social awareness, memoir or biography, all relating to food.”

The winners of the Taste Canada Awards 2017 will be announced at a gala event to be held later this year. For more details, see the Taste Canada website.
