VICTORIA, BC – Spinnakers Brewpub has announced that three beers from its barrel aged and sour reserve program are now available.
Gose Reposado is “a sour that has been barrel aged for 6 months. The brew has picked up notes of tequila and wood, fused with Vancouver Island Co. sea salt, that has created a delightfully refreshing tart taste.”
Cabernet Farmhouse IPA is “a full bodied sour IPA that spent a year in freshly emptied Napa Cabernet barrels, where the brew picked up tannins, a prominent red wine character, and some brett funk.”
Oaked Extra Special Bitter is “pulled from our classic Mitchells ESB, and aged with bourbon soaked oak staves. This creation is rich & smooth with a subtle hints of authentic Kentucky bourbon.”
All three beers are now on tap at Spinnakers while supplies last.
