William Street Beer Co. & Cultivate Festival Releasing Fat Cap IPA

COBOURG, ON – William Street Beer Co. has announced the release of a new beer brewed in collaboration with a contest winner from last year’s edition of Cultivate: A Festival of Food and Drink.

Scott MacDonald won the chance to co-create a beer at William Street in a raffle at the festival, and the result is Fat Cap IPA, a “Double Dry-Hopped celebration of summer [that] features an explosion of citrus flavours and aromas over a light body.”

The name and label – the latter designed by artist Clayton “Cton” Hanmer and designer Luke Despatie – pays tribute to MacDonald’s interest in barbecue and baseball.

Fat Cap IPA will be launched this Sunday (August 6th) at The Mill Restaurant & Pub in Cobourg. It will also be available in 650 ml bottles at the brewery retail store.
