TORONTO, ON – Black Oak Brewery has announced that a beer originally released several years ago to mark the brewery’s 10th anniversary is now available in cans for the first time.
10 Bitter Years was the first widely available Ontario-brewed Imperial IPA when it debuted in 2009, and has since been distributed in 650 ml bomber bottles via the brewery and LCBO.
Now available in more convenient 473 ml cans, it’s described as follows:
10 Bitter Years pours a faint burnt orange in color and carries notable soft malty characteristics that are enhanced with zesty citrus and tropical fruit aromas. They double dry hop this unfiltered beer with a variety of top secret North American hops showcasing the iconic flavour that has made this one of the smoothest and most sought after Imperial IPAs available.
Cans of 10 Bitter Years are now available at the Black Oak retail store, with distribution to select local licensees and LCBO stores to follow soon.
