Junction, Rainhard & Shacklands Releasing Aleyards IPA for Toronto Beer Week

TORONTO, ON – Three breweries in Toronto’s Stockyards district have been announced as the collaborators on the official beer for this year’s edition of Toronto Beer Week.

Junction Craft Brewing, Rainhard Brewing, and Shacklands Brewing have come together to create Aleyards Collaboration IPA, a 6.8% abv and 58 IBU ale which was recently brewed at Junction and is described as follows:

Aleyards Collaboration IPA was brewed with our signature Kiln Amber malt and Vermont ale yeast. The use of Hallertau Blanc hops in the kettle, followed by dry hopping with Simcoe and Mosaic varieties, has produced a fruity, citrusy IPA with an aggressive hop flavour and aroma.

In addition to commemorating TBW 2017, the beer also marks the upcoming opening of the new Junction brewery at 150 Symes Road, just a few steps from Rainhard and Shacklands.

Aleyards Collaboration IPA will be available at select venues and events during Toronto Beer Week, taking place throughout the city on September 15th to 23rd, 2017.
