HALIFAX, NS – The NSLC has announced details of an upcoming series of tasting and educational events focused on craft beer and cider from throughout Nova Scotia.
The Discover Local Craft Beer & Cider series will be taking place on four Wednesday evenings in October at The Port, the NSLC’s specialty store in downtown Halifax.
Running from 7:00 to 8:30 PM each week, the series will include the following topics and hosts:
WEEK 1: Wednesday, October 4
NS Craft Cider + Cider Mixology
Host: Alex Boivin, Wine & Cider Maker at Bulwark Cider
WEEK 2: Wednesday, October 11
Barrel Aged Beer
Hosts: Peter Burbridge, North Brewing Co. & Mark Huizink, 2 Crows Brewing
WEEK 3: Wednesday, October 18
The (Un)traditional Autumn Beers of Boxing Rock Brewing Co.
Hosts: Emily Tipton & Henry Pedro, Beer Engineers / Co-Founders, Boxing Rock Brewing Co.
WEEK 4: Wednesday, October 25
Unfiltered, Unpasteurized, Unbelievably Good Beer
Host: Jeremy White, Founder and Alesmith of Big Spruce Brewing Co.
