Powell Brewery Brings Back Hop Hash Double IPA

VANCOUVER, BC – Powell Brewery has announced that a limited edition beer previously available in March is set to return this week.

Hop Hash Double IPA (8.5% abv, 75 IBU) is described as follows:

After hops are processed into pellets, a magical, sticky substance is left behind, stuck to the walls of the machine. This substance, known as “Hop Hash”, is scraped off and collected as it’s made up of pure hop lupulin (that dank, aromatic, resiny stuff). We’ve used Idaho 7 hop hash combined with pilsner, Vienna and wheat malts to create one of the dankest of dank Double IPAs.

The new batch of Hop Hash will be released Friday October 20th at 12:00 noon in the Powell tasting room and retail store, where it will be available in 650 ml bottles, growlers, glasses and flights while supplies last.
