VANCOUVER, BC – Luppolo Brewing has announced details of a new limited edition beer that is being released this weekend to mark the brewery’s 1st anniversary.
Evoluta is a bourbon barrel-aged Belgian-style ale described as follows:
The name Evoluta represents both our evolution as a brewery in our first year of operation and the evolution of this beer as it aged 9 months in bourbon barrels. A balanced blend of fresh and barrel aged Belgian Style Dubbels, it pours a reddish brown with a persistent fine amber head. Aromas of dark fruit, caramel and toasted oak lead to rounded flavours of prune, vanilla and a subtle roasted character.
Evoluta will be released on Saturday November 4th in a run of 825 bottles that will go on sale during an anniversary party taking place at the brewery from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
