NEW WESTMINSTER, BC – Steel & Oak Brewing has announced the release of a new beer in conjunction with a record show and sale this weekend.
Co-presented by Steel & Oak and the Arts Council of New Westminster, Analog: Pop Up Vinyl Shop – where “record labels, collectors, and vinyl lovers from across Metro Vancouver will gather for an evening of music, beer, fried chicken, and of course crate digging” – will be taking place on Saturday November 18th from 6:30 to 11:00 PM in the Food Hall at River Market (810 Quayside Drive, New Westminster).
The limited edition beer being released for the event is High Fidelity Altbier (5.4% abv), which is described as follows:
High Fidelity is made up of Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts, along with Golden Naked Oats. Hopped with Sazz and Perle this traditional Dusseldorf style Altbier is complex yet refreshing with an assertive hop bitterness to balance out the malt richness.
High Fidelity will be available at Analog, as well as in 4-packs of 355 ml cans at Paddlewheeler Liquor Store during Analog. Otherwise, it will be available exclusively at the Steel & Oak retail store and taproom while supplies last.
