Great Lakes Brewery Announces “30 Years of Great Lakes Beer” Documentary

TORONTO, ON – Great Lakes Brewery has announced that it will be wrapping up its 30th anniversary year with the release of a new film that celebrates the brewery’s history.

30 Years of Great Lakes Beer is a 43-minute documentary by filmmaker David Hodge of Green Suite 209 that features “interviews with those closest to GLB, candid conversations with other brewery owners and brewers, collaboration beer day footage, beer releases and so much more.”

The film will have its debut screening on Sunday December 10th at the Kingsway Theatre in Toronto. Doors will open at 3:00 PM, and various GLB beers will be available in an indoor beer tent before the film starts at 4:00 PM. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with David Hodge GLB owner Peter Bulut, and the beer tent will remain open until 6:30 PM.

Tickets for the screening are available online for $25, which includes admission, two drink tickets, and a GLB 30th anniversary commemorative gold rimmed stemmed glass to take home. For more details, see the event page.
