OTTAWA, ON – Just over a year after it launched with the first in a series of small batch collaborations brewed at other local breweries, Small Pony Barrel Works has announced that its own location will be opening to the public later this week in Ottawa,
Founded by Sean McVeigh, Small Pony is focused on producing barrel-aged sour ales. Four beers will be available in bottles at opening, including P.A. System – “a golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with the perfect ratio of peaches and apricots” – and three others to be announced on Facebook throughout the week.
Small Pony Barrel Works will be opening on Saturday December 9th at 101 Schneider Road in Ottawa’s Kanata neighbourhood. For more details, see the brewery’s Facebook page.
