Collective Arts Releasing First Barrel-Aged Beer & Year-Round Hazy IPA This Weekend

HAMILTON, ON – Collective Arts Brewing has announced details of two beers that will be released this coming weekend, including the brewery’s first ever barrel-aged beer, and a year-round version of a recent limited edition brand that sold out in record time.

Barrel Aged Imperial Porter (11.5% abv) is an amped-up version of the current seasonal Imperial Porter, with the following description:

Aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels for over a year, this new Collective Project delivers a smooth combination of rich chocolate flavours from our Imperial porter, married with vanilla and warming alcohol from the barrels. This one will warm you up this winter, or cellar it for next year!

Life in the Clouds Hazy IPA (6.1% abv) was originally available last month as Hazy IPA, with the full batch selling out at the brewery in just a couple of days. Now part of the core line-up, it’s described as follows:

Simcoe and Mosaic hops balance each other to make this juicy IPA explosively fruit forward in both taste and aroma while curbing any unbearable sweetness to make an extremely drinkable beer. The huge mouth feel ensures all of your tastebuds are enveloped in a blanket of tropical bliss, paradise in a can.

Both beers will be available at the Collective Arts retail store on Saturday December 16th at 11:00 AM. Barrel Aged Imperial Porter will be sold there exclusively in a limited run of 500 ml bottles, while 473 ml cans of Life in the Clouds will be available soon in select USA locations, and next year at the LCBO.
