Collective Arts Announces Releases for Winter 2018

HAMILTON, ON – Collective Arts Brewing has announced details of four beers and a collaborative cider that will be released through January and early February.

The releases kicked off on Saturday January 6th with Raspberry Milkshake IPA with Habanero Peppers, a collaboration with Donut Monster described as follows:

This is our 1st ever Milkshake IPA, brewed with Raspberries and Habanero peppers. Raspberry character dominates, with fruit forward hops, lactose and vanilla sweetness to give the milkshake character. The Habanero gives a finishing kick of heat!

Next up on Saturday January 20th is Mash Up The Jam, a year-round version of the previously limited edition Collective Project Dry Hop Sour:

After the never ending battle between the hop heads and sour lovers we decided to appease the two. Using Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand and Vic Secret from the Yakima Valley this mixed fermentation brew is juicy, sour and extremely refreshing.

Following on Friday January 26th will be Floating in the Void, a “dreamsicle” cider with sour cherries and blackberries created in collaboration with New York’s Graft Cider:

Reminiscent of warm summer days, the nose is sweet and fresh, with hints of vanilla and lemon. Blackberries and tart cherries were added to give a fruity but dry pallet and a brilliant bright purplish pink colour.

The next day – Saturday January 27th – will see the release of be IPA #5, the latest in the Collective Project India Pale Ales series:

New England Double Dry Hopped Double IPA. Brewed with massive amounts of Simcoe and Citra hops, this IPA comes in at 8.2% ABV and a shit ton on the IBU scale.

The final release in this run will be KEX Collab 002: Imperial Stout, the second co-release from Collective Arts and Iceland’s KEX Brewing:

Huge dark chocolate notes dominate from using Omnom Dark Cocao Nibs, from Iceland. Vanilla and Lactose help add body and complexity. Finishes with a pleasantly soft salt character from using Icelandic Sea Salt.

The four beers will be available in 473 ml cans at the Collective Arts retail store starting at 11:00 AM on the dates noted above, with Mash Up The Jam and IPA #4 hitting LCBO stores starting in February. Floating in the Void and several of the beers will also be available at select bars and restaurants in Ontario, the USA, and other regions.
