ABBOTSFORD, BC – Field House Brewing has announced the release of the first beer to be aged in the brewery’s foeders.
Foeder Beer I: Wild Sour Saison (6.7% abv) is described as follows:
A Wild Sour Saison that has been aging in white oak for three months and then conditioned in bottles. Our Foeders are large, 4,000 litre White American Oak casks used primarily in the ageing of our Wild and Sour beers. The porous wood allows a slow ingress of O2; this alongside the subtle touch of oak is perfect for Belgian style sours and Wild innovation.
Wild Sour Saison is available now on tap and in 500 ml bottles at Field House, with distribution to select liquor stores to follow soon.
