ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has announced the upcoming return of a multiple award winning seasonal beer that will be available in two different versions this year.
The Strong Man Belgian Quad (10.3% abv, 18 IBU) is a strong dark ale that took the gold medal in its category at both the 2016 Ontario Brewing Awards and 2017 Canadian Brewing Awards. It’s described as follows:
To the nose, a sweet scent of cola and dark fruits such as cherry and plum with an underlying hint of black liquorice and bubblegum. As this deep garnet hued brew grazes the palate, flavours of caramelized sugars like the sweet toppings of crème brûlée fill your mouth revealing the taste of ripe banana on the finish.
The 2018 edition of The Strong Man will be released on Friday January 26th at 7:00 PM. It will be accompanied by a limited amount of the 2017 edition that has been aged for a year, with both versions available in 650 ml bottles exclusively at the brewery while supplies last.
