VANCOUVER, BC – Bring Your Porter to the Slaughter reports that Bridge Brewing has released a new limited edition beer that is available exclusively at the brewery.
Crowded Streets Salted Maple Porter (5.1% abv, 30 IBU) is the second release in Bridge’s Taproom Exclusive Series, and is described as follows:
A dark brown porter at it’s core, Crowded Streets relies heavily on a variety of crystal and dark malts to create a complex malt profile which features notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and an earthy sweetness. A hefty amount of Organic Dark Maple Syrup from Maple Roch in Summerland, BC was added to the boil, along with Himalayan Sea Salt, which compliments the sweetness of the beer. Magnum and Centennial hops were added for an assertive bitterness, and the beer fermented and conditioned for over a month on English Ale Yeast. Sweet and Salty flavours hit the palate immediately, with the maple coming through after a few sips. Best enjoyed in cold, rainy weather.
