Nickel Brook Brewing Announces Winning Beer from Mystery Pack Vote

BURLINGTON, ON – Nickel Brook Brewing has revealed the winning beer from its recent Mystery Pack promotion, and has announced the name that will be used for its upcoming stand-alone release.

Of the four anonymous beers featured in the pack, Mystery Beer C – a New England-style IPA – received 34.2% of the online votes from customers picking their favourite.

Now known as Wicked Awesome IPA (6.5% abv, 64 IBU), it’s described as follows:

Wicked Awesome IPA is brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops and a Vermont ale yeast. The beer is hazy and juicy with big orange and tangerine aromas, dank tropical flavours and a smooth, full-bodied finish.

Wicked Awesome IPA will be released this spring in 473 ml cans at Nickel Brook’s retail shop and online store, and at select LCBO locations. It will also be found on draught at select licensees in Ontario.
