FREDERICTON, NB – Picaroons Traditional Ales has announced the release of the latest edition of Pivot, a series of “interactive Imperial IPAs where we are pivoting the hops around the same grain bill every batch,” as well as the return of a Valentine’s Day favourite.
Pivot #12 (8% abv) is described as follows:
It’s got quite a bite though is very balanced. It was brewed with just two hops: our old trusty friend Cascade, and (a lot of) Caliente! There’s definitely some grapefruit and citrus on the nose though the bitterness takes hold immediately after you sink into your first taste. That bitterness quickly steps aside and makes room for some sweet citrus and almost peachy flavours that all get blanketed by a fairly assertive floral character.
Afterglow Aphrodisiac Ale (7% abv) has the following notes:
Our seasonal Aphrodisiac Ale, brewed with roasted cocao nibs, chili peppers, licorice and ginseng root and a whole lotta LOVE, is in bottles for the first time ever! We’ve even tweaked the recipe this year and made it 7% ABV as well as increased the chocolate and the chili peppers.
Both beers are available now at all Picaroons retail and taproom locations in New Brunswick, and select ANBL stores throughout the province, while supplies last.
