POWELL RIVER, BC – Townsite Brewing has announced that it is celebrating a double addition to the family of a longtime employee by bringing back two retired beers for a limited time.
When Andrea Nicholson, the brewery’s Office Manager, announced last year that she was pregnant, brewmaster Cédric Dauchot decided to honour the occasion by brewing a new batch of Powtown Porter, her favourite past Townsite beer. And when Nicholson found out that she would be having twins – which she gave birth to last month – Dauchot asked her to pick a second favourite, resulting in the simultaneous return of YOGN 82 Belgian Triple.
Both beers will be released on Friday February 9th at the Townsite tasting room and retail store, and will be available at select private liquor stores and licensees in British Columbia for a limited time.
