CHICAGO, IL & TORONTO, ON – The Cicerone Certification Program, the world’s leading certification program for beer professionals, has announced that it will be deepening its presence in Canada via a partnership with Beer Sisters, a beer education company founded by Advanced Cicerone Crystal Luxmore and Certified Cicerone Tara Luxmore.
According to a press release, the Luxmore sisters have been hired to “represent and market the program across the country and act as the first point of contact for Canadian beer professionals wishing to progress through the program.”
“Canadians have been taking Cicerone exams since our launch in 2008 and support for the program continues to grow,” says Ray Daniels, Founder and Director of Cicerone. “The Beer Sisters will help to sustain that momentum while improving our support for Canadian beverage professionals.”
The roll-out will include a new bi-monthly Cicerone e-newsletter specifically for Canadians, workshops and classes in major cities across the country, and representation at brewing conferences and conventions. In addition, a Canadian Certified Cicerone Study Group has been established on Facebook.
