Lunn’s Mill Beer Co. Holding Cask vs. Keg Showcase Night for Myld Stallyns Ale

LAWRENCETOWN, NS –  The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that Lunn’s Mill Beer Company will be hosting a special tasting night that will pit “two variations of the same beer against each other to see how a small change can impact the perception of a beer.”

Taking place on Friday March 2nd at 6:00 PM, the brewery’s first Showcase Night will feature the debut of Myld Stallyns, an excellent English Dark Mild brewed with guest brewer Ian Dares, and described as “a flavourful beer with distinctive notes of toffee, biscuit and roast, with just enough noble hop bitterness to balance the malt.”

Myld Stallyns will be served in two versions – “cask ale for a silky smooth finish and bold flavours or from a keg for light flavour and a crisp dry finish” – to give attendees to see how much of a difference the serving format can make.
