WHITBY, ON – Town Brewery has announced a collaboration with two local charity-minded businesses on a new beer in support of shark conservation initiatives.
Sticky Fin (6% abv) is a passionfruit wit ale with honey and chamomile that is being released in conjunction with Stillsane, an eco and ethically conscious apparel company that produces branded clothing for the brewery, and BuzzKill Canada, beekeepers and bee advocates that provided the wildflower honey used in the beer.
Both partner businesses donate 50% of their profits to “organizations around the globe to help conserve and protect the planet,” and that spirit is reflected in Sticky Fin, which will have profits donated to Fin Free and the Rob Stewart Foundation to aid in shark conservation.
Sticky Fin will be launched on Saturday February 17th with a ticketed event at Town Brewery running from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. All ticket proceeds will go to the same charities benefiting from the beer sales.
