HALIFAX, NS – Propeller Brewing has announced the launch of a new series of barrel aged beers, starting with a version of one of the brewery’s most popular seasonal releases.
Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout (8.5% abv) is described as follows:
For the first in our Barrel Aged Series, we took our Russian and aged it in oak bourbon barrels. It tastes like dark fruit and roasted malt, and vanilla and bourbon from the barrels.
Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout is available now in a limited run of 330 ml bottles at both Propeller retail locations while supplies last.
