WELLINGTON, ON – Hinterland Wine Company has announced that it has shut down its County Road Beer Company off-shoot in order to refocus its operation exclusively on wine-making.
Launched in October 2015, County Road Beer Co. was located adjacent to the Hinterland winery in Wellington, a small community in Ontario’s Prince Edward County.
An announcement posted on the brewery’s social media channels in late February indicated that it would be “closed for maintenance” until March 24th, when it would re-open for Maple in the County. However, a photo published earlier today on the Hinterland Instagram feed indicates that the closure is permanent, and no further brewing will take place at the facility.
