SARNIA, ON – The Sarnia Observer reports that a local restaurant and bar has applied for a zoning change to allow for the operation a small on-site brewery.
Stoke’s Bay Grill & Bar (485 Harbour Road, Sarnia) has been open in the Southwestern Ontario city since 1993. Manager Chris Pavli tells the paper that with the increasing popularity of craft beer, customers are often asking what local beers are available, and response to the proposed brewery addition has been very positive.
The rezoning application will be reviewed at a public council meeting at Sarnia City Hall on April 16th. No timelines for the brewery have been announced, but more information should be available following the meeting should the outcome be positive.
