KAMLOOPS, BC – Bring Your Porter to the Slaughter reports that Iron Road Brewing has released the first in a new series of barrel-aged beers.
Dark Signal (6% abv, 30 IBU) is described as follows:
Our East India Porter spent 5 months in wine barrels with Brettanomyces Lambicus, before being blended with a fresh batch of porter, and raspberries. This transformation has brought about notes of cherry, raspberry, oak and vanilla, that are complimented beautifully by the dark chocolate and coffee flavours already existing in the porter.
Dark Signal was released yesterday in a limited run of 750 ml bottles available in the Iron Road tasting room and retail store.
