TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the beer that arguably launched the milkshake IPA trend in Ontario will be returning this weekend, almost exactly a year after it was originally released.
Pineapple Milkshark IPA (7% abv) was the first in a series of differently flavoured milkshake IPA variants released by Bellwoods over the last 12 months. It’s described as being “brewed with lactose (milk sugar), heavily dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic, and conditioned on Madagascar vanilla beans and loads of pineapple purée.”
Pineapple Milkshark will be released on Saturday March 31st at both Bellwoods retail locations. Each store will have 1500 bottles, selling for $7.50 each, with a limit of 6 per customer while supplies last.
