CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – PEI Brewing has announced the release of the latest in its After Hours Series of limited edition one-off beers, which is also the first of the previously draught-only series to be released in bottles.
Cuvée La Joye (9% abv) is described as follows:
A Belgian Golden Strong Ale aged for 8 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels then blended with a younger un-barrelled brew to soften the flavour. Clean pilsner malt backbone, soft yeast character, spicy European hops, and a long oaky finish.
Cuvée La Joye is available now in 750 ml bottles at the PEI Brewing taproom and retail store in Charlottetown.
