Good Night Out Vancouver and Port Moody’s Brewers Row Release Collaborative Beer for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

VANCOUVER, ON – The Vancouver branch of Good Night Out – “an independent, international initiative dedicated to helping the nighttime economy deal with, tackle and prevent harassment” – has announced the release of a new beer created in collaboration with the breweries on Port Moody’s Brewers Row in recognition of April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Good Night Out Citrus Zest IPA was brewed at Twin Sails Brewing with the participation of Yellow Dog BrewingMoody Ales, and The Parkside Brewery. Twin Sails describes the beer as follows:

We brewed an absolute citrus bomb, seriously, this beer was conditioned on zest from over 200 grapefruits, 150 Cara Cara oranges, and 75 lemons! We were fortunate to work with some amazing sponsors, Skagit Valley Malting donated some incredible grain to give the beer an amazing body and malt profile, Hops Connect gave us the Vic Secret and Enigma hops that dreams are made of, West Coast Canning provided the cans to get it from us to you, and Summit Print provided us with some of the sickest labels in the game right now!

Good Night Out Citrus Zest IPA was officially launched this past weekend, and is available now at the Twin Sails taproom and shop, select private liquor stores, and on tap at several craft beer bars. Proceeds from sales will be donated to Good Night Out to help support the consent and sexual-assault prevention training sessions that the organisation offers to bars and establishments in the region.
