Waller St. Brewing Releases Belgian Brewer’s IPA & Brings Back Hideaway Hefe

OTTAWA, ONWaller St. Brewing has announced the release of two new limited run beers.

Blind Pig: Belgian Brewer’s IPA (6.7% abv, 87 IBU) is a hybrid of two beers – Belgian IPA and Brewer’s Blend IPA – that were the finalists in the brewery’s recent Blind Pig competition which pitted several different IPAs against each other in bracketed taste-offs.

The voting between the two finalists was so tight that the brewers decided to combine elements of both into a single beer, with the result described as having “a tangerine aroma, tropical flavours and a smooth, resinous bitterness on the finish.”

Also available is this year’s edition of Hideaway Hefe (5% abv, 16 IBU), a spring and summer seasonal with “big banana and citrus zest notes [that make it] the perfect pairing for patios and warmer days.”

Both beers are pouring now in the Waller St. Brewing taproom.
