Henderson Brewing and Tawse Winery Planning Collaborative Releases & Dinner

TORONTO, ONHenderson Brewing has announced details of a collaborative project with Tawse Winery that will be kicking off next week with a wine and beer dinner and a special beer release.

Taking place on Tuesday April 17th at Drake Commissary (128 Sterling Road, Toronto), the dinner – which has been dubbed “Rumble in the Junction: Wine vs. Beer” – will feature five courses, each with a Tawse wine and Henderson beer pairing. In addition, the evening will see the debut of Winemaker’s Choice 2018: Vienna Lager, a new beer co-created by Tawse Winemaker Paul Pender  and Henderson Lead Brewer James Turco.

The collaboration will continue later this year with the release of a beer brewed at Henderson and aged on wine must in barrels at Tawse. The beer will be launched with an event in August at the Tawse-affiliated Redstone Winery.

Tickets for “Rumble in the Junction” are available now via the Ontario Wine Society Toronto Chapter. More details on the beers and August event will be announced on the Henderson Facebook page as available.
