HAMILTON, ON – Grain & Grit Beer Co. has announced details of a new seasonal beer that is described as “a fresh, tart and smooth hit of Spring for your mouth!”
Spring Fever Oat Ale was brewed with hibiscus and cacao nibs, and has the following notes:
Thirty pounds of dried hibiscus flower petals and twenty pounds of cocoa nibs were added to the boil kettle, giving this beer a unique, slightly tart, cranberry, strawberry and wine grape flavour. We used 30% oats, creating a soft creamy mouth feel and thick light head. Bubble gum, grape, strawberry & floral aroma. Smooth and dry finish with a subtle spiciness.
Spring Fever will be available on tap and in cans at Grain & Grit starting on Friday April 20th. A launch event running from 5:00 to 9:00 PM will feature free snacks and postcards with the Spring Fever artwork by Gillian Wilson.
