WHITEHORSE, YK – Yukon Brewing has announced the release of two new limited edition beers for the spring.
Spring Saison (5.7% abv, 20 IBU) is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale described as follows:
A complex blend of flavors from malt and yeast, with citrus fruit and black pepper added to the kettle. Full bodied yet crisp, plus a notable citrus zest and snappy hop bitter – the perfect spring quencher.
Imperial Pilsner (6.9% abv., 28 IBU) was brewed with Sterling, Czech Saaz, and Cascade hops, and has the following notes:
Subtle honey aroma, with notes of earthy floral hops. Malty sweetness melds with earthy, floral and mellow lemon hop flavors. Finishes almost dry with a pleasant herbal hop character.
Both beers were released earlier this month, and are available in 650 ml bottles while supplies last.
